Motor scrapers H series have the longevity and productivity encountered in previous models, combined with innovative technology. Options and assistance with sequential loading automate many tasks among the most challenging issues facing the driver. When these options are combined with the order of Cat leveling, new systems relieve experienced drivers, novice drivers and help to rapidly achieve high productivity.
With the introduction of the H series, Caterpillar offers for the first time the model 621 in a configuration-emmancheur extractor. This system allows two scrapers to make a whole load, rather than using a pusher. Other models have shown that the scrapers configuration emmancheur-puller is the economical solution for many applications.
The new H series machines will take over the series G equivalent from the start of commercial production to be held in August of the year. All three models will be available with an engine meets the requirements of the standard U.S. EPA Tier 4 Interim and European Stage IIIB standards on emissions as well as engines for use in other regions.
Motor scrapers Series 620H retain the configurations of the series G. The 621H is a single-engined machine Dump open, the 623H is a model with a single engine scraper lift, model 627H twin dump is opened (the one located in the tractor and scraper in the other) and all-wheel drive. Capacity increased from 1.5 m3 to 18.3 m3 for models 621H and 627H. The new design makes loading the dump from the dump of the G series, which can be determined by better production. 623H of the bucket has a capacity of 17.6 m3, but the elevator is more robust, more powerful and easier to adjust. This results in reliability and longevity.
The new engines and new orders in the drive train improve performance and provide greater driver comfort The new motor scrapers H series are equipped with more powerful engine in the tractor and the scraper model 627H. The Cat C13 engine of the tractor is rated at 304 kilowatts, or 18% higher than the set G. The C9.3 engine of Scraper 627H has, meanwhile, a power of 216 kilowatts, or 19% higher than that installed in the machine of the series G. The new torque converter associated with the motor of the scraper is designed to provide greater power to the ground.
New software provides an integrated performance of the engine and transmission. The Powershift transmission equipment Planetary and 8 speed is the same as in the unity of the G series, but new software and commands allow even higher performance. The system manages the torque converter and transmission in order to provide flexibility, resulting in an enhanced driver comfort and long life components. The performance of the machine on slopes and to exit the excavation are significantly improved with a uniform torque at the crossing points of the report. On flatter terrain, crossing points of the report are optimized to achieve a balance between fuel economy and performance.
Brakes wet disc maneuver complement the new powertrain and its capacity increased. The new brakes are similar to those of off-highway trucks and Cat Power have a predictable and sustainable capital. The H series machines also have a slower compression engine in place of hydraulic slowdown. The slowing of the engine compression is adjustable between the beaches low, medium or high for optimized cycle time.
A technology for reducing driver rehabilitated Caterpillar offers three new options for integrated technology on motor scrapers series H. Sequential assistance is available on three models and uses an integrated software as well as position-sensing cylinders to automate many tasks performed by the driver during loading, transport and dump. The driver simply setting the desired height for the bucket and apron, and then presses a button so that the machines are ready to do the loading, transport, and then dump back into the excavation. The system automatically adjusts the suspension coupling, the height of the bucket, apron, ejector and the elevator. Aid has a sequential counter working load for monitoring of material moved.
The loading aid is available on the 621H and 627H models. This option takes advantage of using sequential loading the truck at the touch of a button. When the machine enters the excavation, the driver can activate using the load so that the system controls the height of the cutting edge, thus reducing the tire slip through integrated sensors and GPS technology to ensure uniform and complete charges in the dumpster. The driver only has to deal with the acceleration and management. Support for loading allows novice drivers to be productive very quickly.
Cat leveling control is available on three models and is designed to integrate with using sequential loading. With the technology of satellite positioning, the system guarantees the protection of the excavation by limiting the depth of excavation of the scraper. The system is available as optional factory fitted and is fully integrated with the machine. With the system, the driver has the site plan under the eyes, making it more efficient and eliminates the restoration actions. Another benefit of the order leveling Cat is the mapping of the site using the scraper.
Cabin and cockpit redesigned to motor scrapers The new cab is designed to facilitate the tasks performed with the scrapers. This is 21% larger than the cabin of the series G: The driver thus has more freedom of movement and expanded to a glass surface visibility scope of the project. Another innovation designed specifically for scrapers is the management system of conduct advanced (Advanced Ride Management System) Cat. The new system, currently being tested and will be available shortly after the start of commercial production of machines of the series H, is a suspension seat absorbs vibration and prevents shock loads limit.

Includes an integrated display system for the visibility of the work area (WAVS) available. The machine incorporates cameras that can see the cutting edge, the right side and rear. The system improves security and provides a new angle on the cutting edge during loading and can see the back of the machine during work extraction-fitting with another scraper.
With the ladder motorized option, and out of the machine becomes easier. The scale rises and falls and falls below the cabin when not in use.
The new configuration of the suspension coupling also increases driver comfort. The coupling of the 620 series has two batteries, one at high pressure and one at lower pressure. The high pressure accumulator smooths the pipe when the machine is loaded and the lower pressure optimizes the damping when the bucket is empty.
